About Me

Madison...

Madison...
In July 2009 our lives were blessed with the most
wonderful gift ever! We adopted our sweet little Madison. She is full of energy
and keeps us on our toes. She has a smile that will melt your heart and knows
just how to work her mommy and daddy. Madi brings so much joy and happiness into
our lives and we cherish every moments we have with her!

Easton...

Easton...
On April 20, 2011 our sweet little Easton joined our family. We are so grateful
for the blessings of adoption and the amazing woman that has helped to bring our
family here. We are so excited to have a little guy around the house and look
forward to watching him grow.

A little more randomness...

I have no idea who's house this is or where we were when I took this, but he cracked me up with these glasses.  He thought they were pretty cool!

When I put Easton down for his nap, he usually is not all that thrilled about it.  A lot of the time he will get up and play for awhile and then lay down on his floor and fall asleep when he is ready.  There have been a few times that I have walked by and seen his little toes sticking out.  He is such a doll!  I love this little man!
A lot of kids get tired of their pets after the newness wears off.  Madi was sort of that way, but not this one.  Easton LOVES his bunnies and as soon as we open the door to go out back he heads right over to the bunnies and lets them out.  He feeds them and pets them when they will let him.  He tries to catch them and gets so sad if they don't want to play with him.  He definitely loves animals!
The other day I could hear the sink running and went to see who was in the bathroom.  It was my Easton boy!  He had climbed up on the toilet, onto the counter and was sitting in the sink, playing in the water.  This kid is my monkey.  He climbs EVERYWHERE and is so fearless.  He is really keeping me on my toes lately.

Meeting Cordon...
Madi was so excited to meet her new cousin Cordon.  She really likes him and was so sweet with him.  Easton liked him too.  He wanted to hold him the whole time.  If he couldn't, he DIDN'T want me to hold Cordon.  Easton was so funny, a little bit jealous, and a lot in love with the sweet new baby in our family. :D
I'm not sure what this picture is from, she probably just wanted me to take one.  She is my little princess and has recently been reminding me that a lot, literally.  She has said some cute things.  The other day we were driving in the car and this is the conversation...
Me: You're my angel.
Madi: No I'm not.
Me: Are you my princess?
Madi: Yep and I'm supposed to have a crown.
She has also been telling me she is Cinderella.  She has fallen in love with that movie and I think she is probably the new favorite.  Tinkerbell may have to take a back seat for a while.
Madi still LOVES all things ballerina and loves to wear them around the house.  A few days before Halloween, she was getting one on and Easton saw her Tinkerbell costume hanging in the closet.  He wanted to try it on.  He even wanted the bow. :D  Look at the two of them!

My Easton will play with anything.  He found this box and thought it made a great seat while I loaded the dishwasher.  He is so cute, so full of curiosity.  He loves exploring and learning new things.  I love this age!
