About Me

Madison...

Madison...
In July 2009 our lives were blessed with the most
wonderful gift ever! We adopted our sweet little Madison. She is full of energy
and keeps us on our toes. She has a smile that will melt your heart and knows
just how to work her mommy and daddy. Madi brings so much joy and happiness into
our lives and we cherish every moments we have with her!

Easton...

Easton...
On April 20, 2011 our sweet little Easton joined our family. We are so grateful
for the blessings of adoption and the amazing woman that has helped to bring our
family here. We are so excited to have a little guy around the house and look
forward to watching him grow.

We got a swing set!!! 6.9.2013

Both Madi and Easton LOVE to play at the park.  They love to swing and enjoy having fun outside.  Since we are home all day and Derrick had a bonus, we bought a swing set.  It's not one of the super cool Lifetime ones but the kids love it and it was totally worth the splurge. At first Madi would just swing on her tummy or if we pushed her but now she can pump her legs and as she would say... go super super super super super super high! :D
Easton still thinks he needs to be pushed though.  On occasion he will try it on his tummy.
There are three swings, a slide and a teeter totter.
They were playing on it and it was hot out so the slide was hot.  I sprayed it to cool it down and that got them excited about having a water slide.  We put the pool at the bottom and they went to town!  They LOVED it!!!
After a time or two down they ran in for their swimming suits...
I love that squishy face!
They even went down head first on their tummy.  Pretty brave for Madi, no surprise for Easton.  Look how cautious Madi is and how she holds her head up. :D
And then there is Easton that goes all out and doesn't even care.

He is telling me that the water got in his eyes.  It didn't phase him though.  He did it at least 20 more times after that.
I love this one of Easton pushing Madi on the swing.  It is so awesome when they play together and help each other.  I love to watch them!
