About Me

Madison...

Madison...
In July 2009 our lives were blessed with the most
wonderful gift ever! We adopted our sweet little Madison. She is full of energy
and keeps us on our toes. She has a smile that will melt your heart and knows
just how to work her mommy and daddy. Madi brings so much joy and happiness into
our lives and we cherish every moments we have with her!

Easton...

Easton...
On April 20, 2011 our sweet little Easton joined our family. We are so grateful
for the blessings of adoption and the amazing woman that has helped to bring our
family here. We are so excited to have a little guy around the house and look
forward to watching him grow.

It's Official...

My sweet husband finally got the promotion that he has working so hard for.  His new title... Warehouse Manager.  It is a great opportunity for him to learn more about the business and grow in his career.  He really enjoys the people he works with and anticipates a long career with the company.  They have been good to us from the start and we are excited for this new position.  Congrats babe!  Thanks for all you do!  I love ya!!!

A perfect day...

Since my sister and her husband were sealed, my mom came and brought Josh and Bekka.  They both got home in November from serving full time missions for our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints so I hadn't seen either of them for a long time!  I was super excited to see them.  I took lots of pictures of us just hanging out and relaxing around the house.  I love staying at my grandma's.  It feels just like home.
Both my kids had a phone or an IPad every time I looked at them.  They are already hooked on technology!  Snuggling with Auntie Bekka...
My mom playing with her youngest grandkid, Cordon.
Cord has the longest eye lashes I have EVER seen on a baby!  Such a cutie!
Love this one!
Easton and Uncle Joshy...
I even got a picture of Derrick and I that I like...
See, every picture with a phone. :D

Madi was crackin' Cord up!  I love that she loves to play with her cousin.
And that he loves her!  (I make him cry.  He's gonna love me one of these days though. :D)
Auntie Bekka won this boy over!  He couldn't get enough of her!
She kept tickling his neck...
He grabbed her cheeks...
...and laid one on her, again and again and again.  (This is one of my FAVORITE pictures ever!)
Lovin' his Auntie...
He looks so grown up in this picture!
"Aah... Grandma's getting me!"
Tickle, tickle, tickle...
Madi got airplane rides and even sat on Bekka's feet!
Madi, my mom and my grandma
"Save me Grandma!  Bekka's getting me!"
Still with a phone...
"This little piggy went to the market.  This little piggy stayed home..."
"This little piggy cried wee, wee, wee all the way home."
Love this one!
Madi gave Grandma a ballet lesson...
Teaching Grandma how to plie...
"You have to do it like this, ok."
A very worn out little girl at the end of the night.  And so super cute!
It was so fun to see Mom, Bekka and Josh, even if it was only for a couple days.  We miss them all a ton!  Love you guys!

Congrats Tiff & Rick...

My little sister and her husband, Rick, were sealed on Jan. 5th in the Provo Temple.  Congrats guys!

Happy New Year...

We had a fabulous New Year's Eve with some really good friends.  We played games laughed and ate lots of good treats!  New Year's Day we had a relaxing day at home.  It was nice to have Derrick home and be able to play with the kids and have a good day as a family.  The kids have totally loved Easton's Christmas present and we play cars almost every day.
And of course I still can't Madi out of her "ballerina" unless I snag when she isn't around to wash it and hide it for a few days.  She loves it and will put it on over anything.
Madi was doing flips on Easton's closet rod and Easton has to do everything his big sister does.  Here he is begging for help.
Flipping, swinging, hanging, she likes it all...
I LOVE this picture of my Easton Boy.  Both of my kids love playing in their laundry tubs.  It makes me laugh, but they have so much fun in them.  They sit in them, roll in them, hide in them, turn them upside down and play peek-a-boo with each other in them.  Good, cheap entertainment I guess.
