In July 2009 our lives were blessed with the most
wonderful gift ever! We adopted our sweet little Madison. She is full of energy
and keeps us on our toes. She has a smile that will melt your heart and knows
just how to work her mommy and daddy. Madi brings so much joy and happiness into
our lives and we cherish every moments we have with her!

On April 20, 2011 our sweet little Easton joined our family. We are so grateful
for the blessings of adoption and the amazing woman that has helped to bring our
family here. We are so excited to have a little guy around the house and look
forward to watching him grow.

Our Camping Trip... 8.31.13

For labor day weekend we planned to go camping with Chris & Annie, Nicholas & Christina, Tiff & Rick, Andrew & Holly and their kids.  Chris & Annie went up early in the week to save us a spot.  They roped off a great site in American Fork Canyon.  Dad was awesome to let us use the Jeep which was packed full!  (We would have had to strap the kids to the roof if we had to use the Focus. ;D)  We got there Friday night to find people in our site!  Not just one group but THREE!  The rope was gone and three different groups had set up their camp in our site.  One of the groups left after they realized the size of our group and that we were not going anywhere.  The other two stayed but kept to themselves.
I am bummed that these are all the pictures that I got.  My battery died minutes after I got it out. :(  I got some fun art things for the kids.  I'm not sure why I brought "things" for them to paint because they painted themselves and thought it was awesome!
The first morning we woke up to find that we had run over a screw on our way up and the Jeep tire was totally flat.  Aside from that and the mix up with the site, it was a wonderful time!  The kids had SOOO much fun and got SOOO dirty!  They looked like orphans by the time we got home.  (I wish I had gotten pictures of them at the end, maybe next year.)  We all slept great, ate good food (with no ash ;D) and had so much fun with the family.  One of my favorite parts... Derrick, the kids and I went for a little hike.  The views were amazing and it was fun to listen to the kids.  While we were out we walked by a tree.  Pine cones were falling out of it.  We looked up and a chipmunk was throwing pine cones at us!  It was kind of funny.  Looking forward to our next trip!
