Our pretty princess continues to dream of being a prima ballerina. She wears leotards and tutus almost as often as she wears clothes. When Easton had his seizure my sweet friend, Andrea, took Madi and got her these shoes, among other things. Madi is convinced that they are her ballerina shoes. She asks me to turn on the music and will dance around the house for hours! I love to watch her and Easton (because he copies most things his big sis does) dance around and laugh and play. Madi will dance to anything but if she asks for ballerina music it consists of classical or church, especially the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I love that Mo Tab counts as "ballerina" music! On this particular day she is sporting her pj bottoms still. Must have been cold. :D
Ta-da! One of Madi's favorite books is Ballerina Rosie. She got it for Christmas and at night when I read it to her she jumps up on her bed and shows me she can do the same things that Ballerina Rosie does.
Since these are just fun pictures I thought I would try out some fun editing...
[Pretend you don't see how dirty my black rug is. Thanks!]
Looks like it is about time to get this girl her first pair of toe shoes and enroll her in ballet. Maybe for her birthday...
